![]() I will miss Leicester Law School very much and hope that my story and experience instils the hope that I never had, in somebody else who needs it. I would have never in a million years thought that I would go on to secure four vacation scheme offers and in my first year of university, become the elected 2020/21 Leicester University Law Society (LULS) Chairperson, being subsequently shortlisted for and winning numerous social mobility awards from a range of wonderful institutions and organisations such as GROW MENTORING and Bright Network. ![]() Starting law school in 2019 as a newly estranged student from a low socioeconomic background and with no connections in the legal profession was one of the scariest experiences of my life. However, I leave having made the best of friends and the fondest of memories that I will treasure forever. Although an experience I would not change for the world, the journey to this point has been an uphill battle. The endless support and encouragement I received from the university was critical in giving me the strength and confidence to push through and achieve all of the targets I set out to meet during my time at university. I very much will miss the university and all of the amazing friends, mentors and connections I have made along the way, but am looking forward to the exciting times ahead. ![]() I have had the absolute best time at the University of Leicester in the last three years and have seen myself grow as an individual in every possible way. Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my life I graduated from the University of Leicester with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Second Class, Upper Division.
